Inequalities in school funding are shortchanging many American children. Money spent to deliver acceptable education levels, are not meeting standards and students are in fact being ‘left behind.’ And beyond elementary and secondary education, higher education costs are rising faster than the inflation rate. Grants and loans do not add up to meet that need. Students and parents find financing college tougher than ever before.
