Join us as we explore what some experts say is the single biggest threat to wildlife and our environment today... Global Warming and our Footprint.
Global warming is the unnatural change in our planet’s climate caused by an excessive amount of greenhouse gases being released into the atmosphere. We could not live here on earth without a certain amount of greenhouse gases. But in excessive amounts it threatens our environment and wildlife with heat waves, periods of unusually warm weather, the melting of glaciers, rising sea levels, coastal flooding and more. Scientists concluded in 2007 that people are to blame.
With the help of Matt Elliot from Environment New Jersey we try to understand what sort of an impact each of our footprint is having and how we can lessen that by making the extra effort.
Tune-in as OPEN FORUM takes a closer look at being green and what people are doing on the issue.
