INGREDIENTS:
2 lbs goat meat (cut into small pieces)
1 onion, chopped
3 stalks scallion, chopped
2 sprigs fresh thyme, chopped
3 cloves garlic, crushed
2 potatoes, cut into cubes
1/2 hot pepper, chopped
2 tbsp seasoning salt
3 tbsp curry powder
1 tsp black pepper
salt to taste
3 tbsp oil
PREPARATION
- Season goat meat with seasoning salt and black pepper and marinate for one hour.
- Heat pot and pour in oil, then add garlic and curry and saute for at least a minute.
- Pour meat in pot and stir for about two minutes, then cover and allow meat to steam.
- In five minutes add two cups of water, stir and cover pot.
- When goat meat is partially cooked, add potatoes, onion, scallion, thyme, hot pepper and salt (if needed) to meat, stir again and allow meat to cook until tender.
