Bread Pudding - Recipe courtesy of Iva Thompson
INGREDIENTS:
12 slices white bread
6 eggs
3 tbsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp cinnamon
2 cups whole milk
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup raisins
PREPARATION:
Break bread into small pieces.
Add whole milk to bread. Soak for 5-10 minutes.
Blend raisins with evaporated milk and add to mixture.
Combine sugar, cinnamon, eggs and vanilla in a separate bowl and mix, then pour in bread mixture and stir with a wooden spoon until everything is mixed in thoroughly.
Grease baking pan with oil based spray and pour in mixture.
Bake at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
