Ayna 72- Bangladesh 3

In the last episode of a three-part series on Bangladesh, Saim visits Chittagong, the country’s second largest city. He tries his hand at maneuvering a bicycle rickshaw and watches some professional snake charmers perform their craft. He takes us to an artificial lake, originally built in the 1920’s as a reservoir for drinking water, that has become a recreational spot featuring boat rides, cafes, and restaurants. He visits a zoo that houses some of Bangladesh’s own Bengal tigers, and a museum nicknamed “Mini Bangladesh” that displays scaled down versions of some of the country’s most well-known buildings and landmarks. A little over 90 miles outside the city lies 75 miles of unbroken beach known as Cox’s Bazar. The hillside that runs adjacent to the beach, along its entire length, boasts towering cliffs, ancient colorful pagodas and Hindu temples, which only add to the area’s beauty and popularity with visitors. Join Saim this week as he completes his tour of an exciting country filled with so much to do and see. Come with us to Bangladesh!
