Ayna 69- China 3
In the third and last episode featuring China, Saim visits some of the country’s most well known cities and landmarks. He takes us to the Great Wall of China, which, at over five thousand miles long, is the only man-made structure visible from the moon. Truly one of the wonders of the world, the Great Wall has been visited by millions of tourists. Shanghai, which began as a small fishing village one hundred and fifty years ago, can boast the largest growth of any Chinese city in recent years. Though its European origins are still evident in the city’s older architecture, modern high rises are constantly springing up to accommodate its rapidly growing population. Shanghai is home to Nanjing Street, the most popular tourist destination in the city, offering visitors endless shopping and entertainment options. Before leaving China behind, Saim also makes stops in Suzhou and Hanzhou. Join us for another exciting journey, this week, on “Ayna.”
