Saim is back in Africa this week getting to know the people and customs of Guinea. An under developed country despite its major mineral, hydroelectric and agricultural resources, certain areas of Guinea are still managing to move in the direction of growth and progress. Saim visits an internet café where people keep up and in touch with the world around them. He meets the owner of a gold and diamond mine whose life and career are quite different from the average citizen’s. He also tours a French Catholic school that has been teaching children for over one hundred years and learns what life is like for the nuns that work there. Fora glimpse into a world normally not found along the beaten path, joinus this week on “Ayna.”
