This week Saim pays a wintry visit to the homeland of the great astronomer, Nikolas Capernicus. Join him as he explores the cities of Warsaw and Krakow and discovers some of Poland’s greatest attractions. Since most of the buildings that existed prior to World War II are no longer standing, the current architecture of Warsaw is post-war construction. The Cultural Palace,a gift from Joseph Stalin, offers stunning views of the city below.Saim also drops by the Warsaw Cathedral and spends an afternoon with the students of Nazareth Catholic High School. After a stop in Krakow, he makes the twenty-minute drive to the mining town of Wieliczka and tours a salt mine that has been in existence for over 900 years. The greatest feature of the mine, apart from its more than three thousand rooms and two health clinics, is the cavernous Chapel of Saint Kinga, built more than 300 feet below the surface. Join us once again for an experience like no other. Come to Poland this weekon “Ayna.”
