A Taste From the Melting Pot comes hometo comfort food! This week’s episode takes a taste of old-worldPoland with tasty Pierogies, hot Borscht soup, and freshly madecucumber salads.

We’ll step into Andrew’s kitchen tolearn the simple yet delicious recipe for peirogies, which can befilled with everything from savory potatoes, onions and cheese tosweet fillings like cherry and blueberry.

Along the way we’ll learn a bit moreabout Poland itself. A highly educated society, Poland has a longhistory of producing famous artists and scientists, such as Chopinand Copernicus, not to mention numerous respected contemporaryscientists and literary Nobel prize winners. We’ll also see theartistic renderings of Polish culture which grace Andrew’s livingroom!
