This week Salih is a journalist interviewing Nihat, a highly regarded police captain famous for his bravery during a bank robbery.  As Salih spends more time with the officer, he learns that he’s also a widower raising his 8-year-old son, Fatih, all alone.  It quickly becomes apparent that the father has set extremely high expectations for his son and Fatih struggles constantly with the pressure of living up to his father’s standards.  When Fatih gets caught for cheating on a test at school, the thought of his father’s disappointment at his dishonesty is too much to bear, and he makes a rash decision. When his actions lead to an unfortunate accident, the good captain is forced to take responsibility while admitting that he hasn’t been entirely honest either.
