Cold February

Tarik’s elation at being reunited with Zeynep is marred by the fact that she doesn’t react to him at all. Sevket explains how she came to be at the hospital and why it’s still necessary to keep her a secret even after so many years. Tarik vows to find her the best medical care he can but acknowledges it will be hard to find someone who can be trusted with the truth. Yasemin is concerned that her family is keeping something from her. The Company has Tarik on their radar and hopes that the pseudo attack on Nilufer, Semih, Nedim and him will deter him from the case. Ihsan receives word that his old friend, Tahir Mutlu will be returning to Turkey after a long Company-decreed exile has kept him away. But as thrilled as Ihsan may be, the Company is even more upset at the prospect of having to deal with the teacher who urges peace and is most beloved by the people.
