Cold February

The pilot episode of this compelling crime drama opens with a journalist investigating an organization known as The Company that is responsible for a slew of illegal activity. But just before he’s about to go public with his story, he and his family are brutally murdered – except for his 11-year-old son Bahadir who manages to escape. Alone on the streets, scared and in shock, Bahadir is taken under the wing of kindly police captain Sevket Yigit, who renames him Tarik and brings him to an orphanage. There, he meets Semih and Nedim, and a life long bond is formed. Shortly after Tarik’s arrival at the orphanage, a wealthy man, Ihsan Somnez pays a visit and is so impressed with Tarik that he offers to sponsor him. The years go by and Tarik, Nedim and Semih graduate from the police academy with honors, but no one knows Tarik’s secret ambition of taking down the organization and the man responsible for his family’s murder.
