Helicops 6, Day Off | Charly, Jenny and rest of the team are celebrating the first day they've had off for months. But as it turns out, their celebration is a bit premature. While appearing at court, the arsonist Marcel Dante shoots three policemen, takes the prosecuting attorney as a hostage and escapes with his accomplice Orloff. As soon as he gets away, Dante kills the prosecuting attorney as well and then leaves Orloff behind. Dante's goal is to take revenge on Jenny for having arrested him.
Dante's escape puts an end to the romantic evening that Charly and Jenny had planned for themselves, because Dahlberg needs the help of both Charly and Rubelli in the hunt for Dante. Charly isn't very enthusiastic, but he gets moving and before long he and Rubelli have their first success. The prosecuting attorney's car was equipped with a device to broadcast its location and so they are able to find Dante's accomplice.
After a hard interrogation by Charly, Orloff finally reveals where Dante could be hiding. There, Dahlberg and Thorwald discover to their horror what Dante had been planning all along---revenge on Jenny. They notify Charly and Rubelli, who dash to Jenny's flat but arrive only to find it empty. A neighbour, however, is able to tell them in which direction she saw Jenny walking off---a piece of information she also gave to "that odd young man"...
And Dante has in fact found Jenny. But she manages to escape from this madman and hides in an empty warehouse at the harbour. Dante tracks her down and is just about to turn a flame thrower on her when we hear the roar of the AK1 helicopters. Charly and Rubelli have arrived! Using their laser cannon, they burn a hole in the flame thrower. Jenny manages to hide behind a bulkhead, but Dante is consumed by an enormous fireball. |
